About Olivia
Hi my name is Olivia and I have a profound passion for sharing my skills which involve History, Spanish and English Literature. Reading is one of my favourite pastimes, especially when involving historical events and classic literature. I have a love of languages, also speaking Slovak, and enjoy learning about all cultures! My favourite parts of history include the Cold War, Germany (1918-1982), The British Empire, and other parts of history in order to aid my students. I have also worked with children before being a performing arts assistant teacher at Stagecoach and I am fully DBS checked.

I offer tutoring for GCSE and Key Stage 2 and 3 students in:
- English Literature
- History
- Spanish
For English Literature, I help students improve their essay writing, literary analysis, exam technique and revision skills. Lessons focus on understanding themes, characters, language, structure and context, while building the confidence needed to write high-quality exam responses.
For History, I help students develop a strong understanding of historical events while improving the analytical and exam skills needed for GCSE success. Lessons focus on source analysis, essay writing, evaluating historical interpretations, and using evidence effectively to build well-supported arguments.
For Spanish, I help students build confidence in all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading and writing—while strengthening their grammar and vocabulary. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs and focus on improving fluency, accuracy and exam technique.
Standard lessons are 1 hour.
