About Badru Nisha
Hello! I’m Badru, an English educator with 5 years of teaching experience.
I have worked as an Assistant Professor of English, teaching students from diverse academic backgrounds and helping them develop their language, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Throughout my teaching career, I have taught "General English, Literature, Communication Studies, Business Communication, and Personality Development". I have also worked with large and diverse student groups, which has helped me develop an adaptable and student-centered approach to teaching.
My academic background in "English Literature", along with my ongoing interest in "Philosophy", has shaped the way I approach literature. I enjoy encouraging students to look beyond memorized interpretations and develop their own ideas through discussion, close reading, and critical thinking.
I can help students explore poetry, novels, drama, literary criticism, literary theory, textual analysis, academic writing, and essay preparation.
Whether you are a school student, university student, or an adult interested in literature, I aim to create a friendly and engaging learning environment where you can ask questions, express your ideas, and become a more confident reader.

Explore Literature Beyond the Text
Do you love literature but sometimes struggle to understand difficult texts, literary theories, or what an author is really trying to say?
What we can explore together:

My approach is "discussion-based rather than memorization-based". Instead of simply giving you interpretations, I encourage you to develop your own way of reading and thinking about a text.
A typical lesson may begin with understanding the text and its context, followed by close reading, discussion, interpretation, and critical analysis. We can explore not only "what" a text says, but "why" it says it and what it reveals about society, culture, identity, gender, class, power, and human experience.
