I am a teacher in training. I have 2 years of experience in teaching. 1 year of experience teaching elementary school students and on year of experience teaching English literature to high school students.

My classes are student centered which means that I focus on ensuring that students are participating and given enough time to engage with lessons. A typical class will begin with an introduction of the day's lesson and work plan. The introduction will be followed by group or independent reading of relevant texts and finished with either class discussion or a class lecture highlighting the importance of the text and the concepts it contains.
Students, or parents, can also inform me on specific areas they would like to see improvement, such as essay writing, and those areas will be focused on during the lesson.
