About Lucy
I am an English Literature student currently studying at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. I have achieved an A grade in English Literature at both A level and GCSE. I currently work part time in a primary school offering out of school care for children ages 3-14 to support my studies. I have a keen interest in Renaissance drama, specifically the works of Shakespeare and Marlowe. My favourite author is Jane Austen.

I start my classes with asking the student what their biggest concern is in their studies in English. I believe that addressing the concerns and struggles a student is facing is the most important responsibility a tutor has. Tutors are here to assist your learning outside of a school setting, so it is my opinion that sessions should be influenced by the students thoughts and feelings regarding their level of study as well as the tutor identifying potential problems the student is unaware of regarding their work. I wish to provide a positive learning environment for all students to enable them to reach their full potential.
