About Lauren

I was in the IB program during middle school and high school, taking IB English all the way through. I have always done well in the subject and have helped my sister on numerous occasions, all efforts ending in success. I’m currently in college, majoring in English and minoring in Secondary Education to teach high school English.

I try to help develop my students’ skills by helping them get rid of redundant writing or summary when they need analysis. I also help them be more succinct in their writing in order to make room for the main point of their argument. I do not talk down to students; instead, I treat them with kindness and encouragement while still making sure they understand.
