About Maryam
ELA has been my favorite subject since I was 8 years old! Now I’m pursuing a career in English teaching and I’ve also been certified to work w/ ESL folks. I have a work background in early childhood and middle school education. I worked as both a teachers assistant and a reading/literacy tutor for kids who struggled with exceling in their ELA studies. In a short amount of time, I was able to get them up and running and even loving to read and write again. I’ve found that no difficulty is unconquerable, and that every student should have the opportunity to gain confidence and competency in whatever they’re doing.
