About Tiger
My teaching over thirty years has been about connection with individual students and their needs. I enjoy inspiring confidence in my students. Over thirty years of teaching, I have encountered students with different learning styles as unique to them as their personalities. Getting to know each student and meeting them where they are at in their English journey is of paramount importance. Developing a personal connection with literature, through essays or simply comprehension, is part of the magic of studying English. Helping to ease the burden of student stress is also important to me.

I can facilitate an understanding of literature in many different contexts. -Thesis development -Understanding of literary analysis -Support with every part of Essay Process -Proofreading -Editing -I have taught literature from the Romantic era to Post Modernism. -I try to be personal to your needs. -Part of my job is to help take some of the stress off your shoulders! Although my last fifteen teaching years have been at upper levels, I have taught junior English as well. I am part of the assessment team for the British Columbia Ministry of Education (Canada).
