About Esther
I have an MA and PhD in English and have taught English and language arts to high school, college, and graduate-level students for 11 years.
Some of my favorite subjects are classical comedy and tragedy, Shakespeare, and Chaucer (I wrote my dissertation on the Canterbury Tales).
I think reading and writing should be an adventure that leaves you with a sense of growth and satisfaction. Reading and writing well means you're taking part in a great conversation through time. And there's no better preparation for life than being able to say what you mean with excellence. I'm here to help!

I'm here to help you succeed with homework, writing projects, and tests. We'll start by discussing what you need and then dive in. I'll assess your skills on the way and offer advice.
