English Speaking, Writing and Studying Skills Specialist - English tutor with Andrew

I have worked as a senior manager in two colleges where Andrew taught and managed English. He has always shown real integrity, enthusiasm and a passion for helping young people from all different backgrounds and at all different levels of proficiency to achieve good English qualification and enjoy themselves whilst doing so. He is creative, thoughtful and has an open and unassuming manner which puts his students at ease.

Andrew taught at Tower Hamlets College from March 2004 until the end of August 2009. He worked with young people and with adult classes, teaching English to GCSE and A level, and a range of Humanities subjects. He showed himself to be an imaginative teacher, adapting his approaches well to meet the different needs of young people and adult learners. In addition to working at post-16 level, he has extensive experience of working in schools and in other setting with children under 16.
Andrew has great enthusiasm for English in all its form, and has developed a variety of approaches to support those who love reading, and to inspire reluctant readers and writers. His wide knowledge across the areas of Politics, Geography and World Development qualify him to tutor and support a range of subjects.
