About Kiera-joan
A little about me!
English has always been a natural skill, and love of mine; over the years of school and post-grad, I've learned to enjoy it more and more. Writing, like most things in life is an art; to truly understand and learn a language is fun, and rewarding in itself. I want to help individuals to be confident in what they're being taught, and have a sense of clarity when learning with me. Everyone should enjoy the chance of being able to improve, and learn new skills . With the willingness to teach, encourage, and inspire, I believe I can help others feel secure with their English writing skills. Getting individuals the personalized help they need is my objective, and seeing people thrive is the main goal!

Writing is all about punctuality, and using words to express the way you want to convey a message. Without proper commas, periods, semicolons, etc., it's almost impossible to understand something that is written. More over, it can completely change the sentence altogether. Living in a world of technology, I believe it's important to remember our English language, and its roots.
I strive to help young writers, storytellers, students, and those who are learning English as their second language.
Each lesson is different depending on what the individual is trying to achieve:
If it is academic, there will be a series of small tests to see how comfortable you are with writing, and how you progress. By working together, we will be able to find out which areas need the most focus, and make sure you're feeling confident before moving on.
If it is for freelance writing and/or independent storytelling, you will determine what you feel is the most important to focus on. We will be able to talk, plan, and collaborate. Your project will be the main focus, and making sure you are happy with the final results is the key. I am also open for tips and pointers, if that is all that is desired; you get to determine what sort of help you need.
If it is for personal progression, we will go over your skills together, and figure out what your end goal is. Where do you think you can improve, what is your main focus, and the best way for us to approach certain tasks. The way you feel about your English writing skills, and your general knowledge will be the main focus.
