About Emilly
I'm a graduating Year 13 studying the IB Diploma. I've been teaching GCSE students for over a year, as a Maths tutor and English mentor to a few students. Those to whom I've taught English have all since passed their GCSEs.

I try to teach English by trying to relate the student's feelings while reading to analysis. For example, I ask a student how an extract made them feel, ask them to point out what specific part made them feel that, and then explain how that could be structured into a sentence in an essay.
