About Harrison
I am a student at Birmingham City University studying a joint BA in English and Drama after achieving strong marks in both subjects on all academic levels. I have been passionate about plays and performance from an early age, which fostered my fascination with narrative and differing forms of written work. I spend a lot of time analysing and exploring different literary genres independently, and aim to inspire some level of this interest within my student

Due to possessing a strong passion for the theatre and keen interest in the craft of writing in general, I have knowledge of a vast array of the plays and texts my students may be required to study, tailored to fit their needs and the level of understanding they require, whether they are in Key Stages 2 or 3, approaching GCSEs, or due to sit their A Levels. I aim to find an approach that allows my student to engage with the text in ways that they may not have considered. I also have a deep understanding of the requirements for the English Language GCSE papers that will allow my students to approach the questions with more confidence and insight and use their time within the exam more efficiently
