About Sophie
I have received outstanding distinction in writing from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, as well as a score of 5 on the AP Lang exam. I also served as editor of my school's literary magazine, and therefore have extensive experience in constructive critiques and methods for improving your writing.
I have also worked extensively with elementary and middle school aged children, both as a babysitter and as a summer camp counselor/teacher.

As a student studying English at Georgetown University, I know that essay writing can be tough-- however, it is also an essential skill that, if mastered, can guarantee success both academically and professionally.
Lessons will consist of one-on-one writing advice for all ages, particularly K-12 students, middle school, and high school. Teaching will take place both in the form of proofreading/constructive criticism, as well as lessons on how to form a piece of writing from scratch.
