About Bailey
During my time tutoring and substitute teaching, I have worked with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of subjects such as English, Social Studies, Math, and even study skills and test prep. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts in English and Secondary Education, which fuels my passion for teaching each day. Outside of tutoring, you can find me lost in a good book, watching indie films at my local movie house, playing board games with friends, or painting with acrylics or oils. My artistic spark keeps my teaching vibrant and reminds me that taking risks is part of the learning adventure. As an educator, I will aim to spark my student's curiosity and help them develop a joy for learning!

When it comes to teaching, I blend a combination of visual, auditory, and hands-on tools, creating a fun, engaging environment where learning becomes an engaging and exciting adventure. I focus the student, making sure we communicate openly and leave room to adjust our path as we go. After all, every learner has their unique journey, and I'm here to help them discover it! As an educator, I will aim to spark my student's curiosity and help them develop a joy for learning!
Scheduling note: I can meet virtually or in-person at a local library, community center, or another public location. I am open to scheduling classes in the student's home after communication has been established with the student and caregivers after the initial trial class, where this may be mutually agreed upon.
