About Laura
I’m a student with 2 years experience volunteering at a local school, however, I specify in English. I have tutored previously at both GCSE and A level, along with running an English clinic for years 7-11. I additionally helped to run a book group for primary age students.

I offer an individual based approach to teaching. We will work together to find out how you learn best, then I’ll introduce some strategies and techniques to help improve. I’ll assist your weakest areas of English first to establish more confidence. However, I can teach literature, language and drama in detail. My English degree requires me to have an excellent understanding of literary technique and criticism, linguistics and theatrical conventions. I can implement experience from tutoring English to ages 4-18; I’ll address concerns specifically to your needs, whether that’s an upcoming exam or general improvement in communication skills.
