About Nakagawa

Hello! I'm Yumi, a Japanese woman. At Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), I have experience interacting with international students from various countries and teaching Japanese. I also have experience as a cram school instructor and teaching Japanese and origami to children at an orphanage in Malaysia. I love not only traditional Japanese culture but also contemporary Japanese culture such as anime, fashion, beauty, cafes, and travel ♡ I welcome anyone who wants to "be able to talk naturally with Japanese girls," "talk about their favorite anime in Japanese," or "learn practical Japanese that is actually used, not just textbooks"! I also have experience living abroad, so I can provide support in English. In particular, I want to create lessons where female students who love Japan can feel comfortable and enjoy talking. Hi! I'm Yumi, a native Japanese speaker from Japan. I studied in an international environment at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), where I had experience helping international students learn Japanese. I also have teaching experience as a tutor in Japan, and while living in Malaysia, I volunteered at an orphanage where I taught children Japanese and origami. I love both traditional and modern Japanese culture, including anime, fashion, beauty, cafes, and travel ♡ If you want to chat naturally with Japanese girls, talk about your favorite anime in Japanese, or learn the Japanese people actually use in everyday life, I'd love to help! I can also support you in English. I especially want to create a friendly and comfortable space for female students who love Japan and want to learn Japanese in a relaxed way.

About the lesson

As a native Japanese speaker, I'll teach you natural, real-life Japanese in a fun and relaxed way, focusing on everyday conversation. Beginners are very welcome! English support is also available as needed. I'll tailor the lessons to each individual's level and goals, covering expressions, pronunciation, and cultural aspects that you can't learn from textbooks alone.
