About Tobias
Pata salada nueva, here since July 2020. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Linguistics in 2013. With that, I worked in a federal education program in the United States, called The Migrant Education Program, helping students from 3 years of age to graduation from high school. All of my students were of migrant families who worked in agriculture.
At the same time, I was a linguistics researcher at CSU San Marcos in San Diego, California. I gave lectures on linguistics and the study of grammar, and helped with the documentation and preservation of two Mayan languages.

My goal is to teach in a personalized, relaxed, and most of all effective way. My style focuses on giving my students tools to communicate quickly, and raise their level. Through conversation I take note of patterns of grammatical errors, vocabulary gaps, and difficulties with accent. I offer expertise in various fields, including Vocabulary for medical practice, education, social justice, and more.
My goal is not that you need classes for the rest of your life. We will focus on practical grammar and vocabulary for you, so that you can achieve your communication goals.
