About Melinda
I am a former high school and college English instructor. I love teaching literature and writing and preparing students for their next level of instruction. I have been teaching and consulting since 1978 and love helping students learn to love reading, writing and speaking as much as I do--or at least close!

My teaching approach is interactive and a workshop approach where I function as the facilitator and coach students to discover their own talents and learning. While there is always some need for direct instruction, true learning comes from collaboration, and relevant assignments.
