About Anastasia

I have been passionate about English since I was a child and I have attended extracurricular courses throughout my life. As soon as I finished high school with a linguistic background, I started traveling and being in close contact with people from all over the world. For the past 2 years I have worked as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for children aged 4 to 18 in Taiwan and Vietnam. At the moment I work on platforms like Cambly and Italki to offer students all over the world my help to improve their knowledge or to learn from scratch.

About the lesson

I am a teacher with TEFL certified (Teach English as a Foreign Language) internationally recognized. Not being a native speaker, neither Italian nor English, I know very well the difficulties that can be encountered in learning a foreign language. My lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual or group because I believe that each person learns with his own rhythms and methods. I like using songs, videos, games, power points and other content from the web to make learning not only effective but also fun. A lot about the logic and the expressive creativity of each student. I like to encourage people to try to communicate exclusively in English without fear of making mistakes because confidence and belief in oneself and in their abilities is more important for me in communicating with Native Speakers than grammatical rules. For those who are more interested in improving the knowledge of the latter I prefer to use logical games and many visuals to facilitate memorization. The first lesson usually takes place in a friendly context, exclusively in English, to know each other, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the student, to understand his needs and to establish a path together for the next meetings that can satisfy all this .
