About João Victor

In general, students that come to me already have a well-defined focus and naturally expose their key points that demonstrate their language improvement needs. I seek to develop and translate the impressions received and adapt them so that students' goals are satisfactorily addressed through the various methodologies with which I have had experience. I put in practice several methodologies, among which I can cite: direct, audiolingual and socio-interactionist. The application of the specific methodology, or an association of these, depends on the student (s) involved. For the development of exercises and interactions that grant effective learning, such depend strongly on a cyclical relationship between student (s) and teacher. I always try to motivate in my students the understanding of the context regarding the lessons passed on. In addition, I seek to expose the potential evolution gradually through the exercises combined with the methodology.

About the lesson

I have been a tutor in English for over 10 years. I teach students regardless of language level and I am always willing to help. I started my studies in the English language out of pure curiosity and a little affinity. Over time, I realized how much this language has improved my life in so many ways. Since I work with technology, the mastery of this language has literally transformed my way of accessing content, as well as my interpersonal relationships. I am graduated from the Language Center of UECE (State University of Ceará), Houses of British Culture of UFC (Federal University of Ceará) at Basic, UPPER and Advanced levels. Usually my classes take place via a computer (online). However, depending on the situation, it is possible that exceptions may occur and classes may be taught on the student's chosen site. My methodology is based on the focus of joint development of the basic pillars of language: writing, speaking, listening and textual construction. During these long years I teach, I developed a better posture and material to help in class. Therefore, I myself create the material that will be used by each student. There are no copies, but a product that fits perfectly for you who chose to invest. My classes are usually a result of the combination of various methodologies. Generally, however, some methodologies tend to generate more classroom dynamics (direct, communicative, and audiolingual).
