About Myrna

Hi, I'm Myrna!

For me, English is more than just a subject to study. It's a way to connect with people, discover different perspectives, and have conversations you might never have had otherwise. That's one of the reasons I love teaching it.

I've spent more than 10 years teaching English to adults, along with working in customer service and with international companies. I'm TEFL-certified, but more importantly, I'm someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and learning about their stories, cultures, and ideas.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and focused around real conversations. I want you to spend less time worrying about making mistakes and more time expressing yourself, sharing your opinions, and enjoying the conversation.

About the lesson

English that goes beyond the textbook.

My approach is simple: we learn English by actually using it.

My lessons are built around real-life topics, interesting questions, and meaningful conversations. We might talk about living abroad, social media, cultural differences, life goals, or even social issues. The goal is to help you express your thoughts, opinions, experiences, and personality naturally in English.

Each lesson revolves around a topic and a series of questions designed to get you thinking and talking. I’ll guide the conversation, introduce useful vocabulary and expressions, ask follow-up questions, and gently correct mistakes when they affect clarity or naturalness.

Most importantly, you won't be doing all the talking just to answer a list of textbook questions. I want our conversations to feel like genuine conversations between two people who are curious about the world.

I have more than 10 years of experience teaching English to adults, and I believe that becoming fluent isn't just about knowing more grammar. It's about becoming comfortable enough to think, react, explain, tell stories, share opinions, and have spontaneous conversations in English.

My lessons are ideal for adult learners who are around intermediate level or above (B1–C1) and want to become more confident and natural when speaking English. They're especially suited to people who enjoy discussing ideas, learning about different cultures, sharing experiences, and having conversations that go beyond the usual "What are your hobbies?" questions.
