I worked with Kevin, and he is one of the most organized and knowledgeable teachers I know. He is super committed to teaching. We had so many fun debates in the teachers’ office about the best ways to help our students succeed. Those discussions were some of my personal highlights from last year. He creates unique lessons. I had to cover his class once. He provided me with a wonderful English lesson about how intonation affects the meaning of a word. Kevin recorded himself saying “Dude” in a dozen different ways; the students had to identify the emotion being portrayed. Some of the recordings were so funny, the students and I were howling with laughter. More importantly, the students immediately understood how intonation works and did well on their assessments.
