About Chantal
Hi, I'm Chantal!
English has always been my strongest subject.
I earned the NCEA Scholarship in English, got an A on my IB Extended Essay in English, and studied English A: Literature at Higher Level (6). I now study Law and International Relations at Monash University, where reading closely and writing clearly are part of my everyday work. I am also a part-time tutor for English and writing!

I focus on the skills that lift marks: adhering closely to the marking criteria, building a strong argument, and writing clear, well-structured essays. We use model answers, plan essays together and do timed practice. I give detailed feedback on drafts, so students know exactly what to improve next time.
I cover everything IB English (Paper 1, Paper 2, Individual Oral, HL Essay and Extended Essay)
Lesson length: 60 minutes, with 90-minute sessions for essay or exam preparation
