About Wandy Felicita
I am a writer and digital media content creator with over a decade of experience in branding, copywriting, editing, journalism, marketing, publicity and social media management. My areas of focus include beauty, current events, customer service, entertainment, environmentalism, leadership, Latinx culture, mental health, politics, professional development, pop culture, science, social justice and women's issues and representation. Currently, I have a Bachelor's degree with honors in both English and French and am getting my Master's Degree in Digital Communications.

With over a decade's worth of experience working with all age and ability levels of English students, creating an environment where my clients feel secure in themselves, confident in their work and optimistic about their capacity for improvement is essential to my teaching method. In our first lesson, I'll ask you about how you like to work--study strategies, teachers you've liked/not enjoyed classes with, and tools you use when working on assignments and projects. From there we'll take a holistic view of your strengths, areas for improvement and goals you're looking to achieve by working together. Then we'll identify those high value items and devise a time-appropriate action plan that works best with 1) your learning style and 2) my knowledge base. You're in the driver's seat here, I'm sitting alongside you as a guiding hand! I can help with anything from SAT prep to literary analysis, college admission essays to poetry writing, and resume/cover letter editing as well. I'm looking forward to meeting you, learning about your English goals, and working with you!
