About Tania
I am a University of Toronto student studying Psychology with minors in Philosophy and Biology with a passion for teaching English.
I have 3 years of previous teaching experience in English and Biology to middle school and high school students and have helped students improve their grades greatly.
In the past I have tutored 10 students. Most of these students started with a high 60 to mid 70 in their respective subjects and ended the course with an mid to high 80.
I am willing to adapt to the students learning styles and am willing to help them achieve their goals.

My style of teaching is a blend of demonstrating and facilitating. I illustrate what the student needs to do and then at that point I provide them with a problem and allow them to figure it out while giving subtle hints. The goal is to allow the student to develop critical thinking skills and hone in their writing style.
