About Logan
Hi! My name is Logan, and I’m a passionate 20-year-old songwriter, singer, and writer, with six years of experience in each of these fields. My journey hasn’t always been easy; I faced challenges expressing myself through words and often struggled with reading and writing. But it wasn't until I turned 14 that I discovered the transformative power of music, which opened the doors to a world of creative expression. At 16, I penned my very first book, and in that moment, I fell in love with storytelling. It’s incredible how the mind can create beautiful narratives, and I have learned that every word can be a brushstroke on the canvas of imagination. Coming from a large family with six younger siblings, I found joy in coaching them through their school years. Many of them, like me, faced challenges in English class. Though together, we transformed struggles into triumphs. I’m proud to say that I’ve helped each of them achieve fluency in reading and writing. Now, as they grow, I am excited to meet other brilliant minds and share the joy of language and storytelling. I believe that everyone has a unique voice waiting to be heard, and I want to inspire others to embrace their creativity and express themselves confidently. Let’s embark on this journey together and celebrate the incredible power of words!

As an English coach, I focus on identifying each student's unique strengths and areas for improvement. By leveraging their strengths, I aim to help them address weaknesses, fostering a balanced development in reading, writing, speaking, and creative expression, such as songwriting.
A typical lesson plan includes a thorough examination of a topic where the student may be facing challenges. Together, we break down the subject matter into manageable parts, analyze each component carefully, and then reconstruct the information to enhance their understanding. At the conclusion of our sessions, I assign a topic for the student to study, which we will review through a quiz in our next meeting.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my youthful perspective, which allows me to connect with students in a relatable and peer-like manner, rather than from a strictly authoritative viewpoint. I strive to create a fun, interactive, and supportive learning environment. Having grown up with six younger siblings, I have developed effective approaches to engage younger learners, ensuring that they feel comfortable and encouraged in their educational journey.
My lessons are designed for K-12, however I encourage people of all ages, to join me on this trip to the world of words! :)
