About Sabrina
Good day everyone! My name is Sabrina and I'm an English Tutor. I live in sunny South Africa and I have two fur babies.
I feel strongly that learning should be fun and relaxing, yet educational. So, in my classroom be ready to enjoy learning and not be afraid to make mistakes.
I'm qualified and experienced with teaching in a traditional classroom setting and private one-on-one online tutoring, taught English to kids and teens who had English as a first (Home language) and second language (First Additional Language). Helped kids with learning disorders such as ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia to exceed at school and provided a safe space for students who needed emotional support.

I taught the Cambridge curriculum to students aged 6-12 and assisted with homework help.
While working as a English Tutor I helped students improve their reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar, vocabulary and to prepare for exams and tests.
My method of teaching:
I believe lessons should be fun but educational, therefore I include activities that feature a topic the student enjoys while at the same time practicing one of the 4 skills.
I also include a variety of educational games, videos to set up the lesson topic, a mental break to help the student's brain shift focus and return ready to work and learn, and a fun warmer to
start the lesson on a fun note.
