About Umaiza
In my free time, I enjoy reading various genres of literature and volunteering at my local and school libraries. Both of these activities have made me love English more and advance my knowledge of different English topics. I also enjoy writing for various organizations about topics ranging from social justice to fantasy.

I started tutoring out of my love for English both in and out of a school environment.
My friendly and energetic demeanor allows my students to feel comfortable to ask questions and show their understanding of the content.
I am currently a grade 10 student that has excelled in my English classes. I also write for several organizations which has furthered my communication skills.
Over time, I have acquired many tutoring tips and tricks that lead my students to the rewarding "aha" moment of understanding the material. From assigning personalized homework and helping students with a variety of materials, I'm dedicated to promoting learning for my students.
