About Abigail
My teaching approach is clear, structured, and focused on helping students achieve academic success. I guide learners through English fundamentals such as sentence structure, paragraph planning, and academic writing techniques. Each lesson is designed to build clarity, coherence, and confidence in writing.
For exam-focused learners, I provide step-by-step instruction on essay organisation, time management, and analytical writing. We’ll practice crafting strong introductions, logical arguments, and concise conclusions that meet academic standards. I work especially well with Heritage Learners and Academic/Linguist students who want to refine their academic voice and strengthen their communication style. I’m an English tutor with over 9 years of experience and a BA in English for Game Design and Narrative. My teaching blends creativity with cognitive science to make language learning both effective and mentally stimulating. I specialise in using English as a tool for memory enhancement, helping students strengthen recall and boost mental agility.
