About Maria
Having taught a wide range of classes following the UK National Curriculum in English, French and Spanish, as well as Functional Skills from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 5 and the International Baccalaureate framework in English and Media, since 2003 (ages 9 to 18), I am a committed, motivated and enthusiastic individual who successfully tailors curricula to meet the needs of all students. I am a creative and analytical thinker, which allows my lessons to be stimulating, inspiring and engaging. As a fully qualified Google Educator, I see the benefits of integrating technology and education to offer the best possible methods of teaching and learning to students in our modern, fast-changing world. My well-developed interpersonal skills enable me to work well with others and forge fruitful collaborations with all school community members. I truly believe that the future of every country is determined by the children it educates and nurtures. This drives me to be the best teacher I can be and ensure I provide all children with a positive educational experience and sense of belonging.
