About Victoria
Having trained in Russia for six years and later completing my Masters degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama I have built up a wealth of teaching experience. I have taught beginners and accomplished violinists and run a Youth Orchestra for children in the Merton area.
Influenced by Russian Pedagogy styles and various methods I have developed teaching skills that have allowed me to help develop my students’ violins skills to an extremely high standard; successfully passing Grades and gaining music scholarships.
My teaching has covered not only practical technique, but also ensemble performance. Furthermore, I organise concerts and recitals for my students and Youth Orchestra and prepare musical arrangements to suit their level of expertise.
In my one-to-one teaching, I customise my teaching method to suit the individual student, thus enabling them to work to their full potential. I am also accustomed to teaching students from various backgrounds and cultures.
I love to sharing my knowledge and experience.
