About Rashmie
I have completed my M.A in Economics as well as Bachelors in Economics honors from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune.
I was fortunate to have a diverse background both personally and academically. I grew up in a defense background. My father being an Army Officer and my mother in pedagogy profession has exposed me to different places, cultures, people, languages, which is why I have always had a holistic approach to problems from various angles. Since my childhood, I started gravitating towards this noble profession because of my mother who was a teacher in Army school.
I have always had a penchant for teaching and an insatiable hunger for research . I gravitated towards research in my first year of M.A. and started taking lectures for microeconomics and Indian Economics during my final year of masters.
I was working with Janaseva Foundation, Pune as a Research Assistant. Currently I am putting up in Visakhapatnam with my husband, who is a Naval Officer. I was teaching in Naval KG School, INS Kalinga.

Well, I do not like to contain teaching in a water tight compartments, my teaching is very flexible,student- centric, individualized,accompanied with stimulation, demonstration,inductive-deductive approach to learning, real life examples so that children can draw information based on associations, case studies, etc, In a nutshell my teaching entails traditional pedagogic strategies with a perfect blend of contemporary methods of teaching that will inculcate in students a self-directed sustainable learning.
