Former teacher of at risk students, middle grades math, science and social studies for three years. I tutored high school students with an array of subjects after school, and I taught a French club and a photography club!

My teaching philosophy is hands on, fun and appeals to all learner types! I love to act as a facilitator to learning and see my students begin to have “aha” moments on their own. I teach using examples, graphic organizers and unique projects to gradually bring students on-level. I firmly believe in instilling a sense of pride in my students by allowing them the autonomy to work and learn the material after my initial instruction and with minimal guidance thereafter.
