About Holly

I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2021 with a 1st Class Honours in BSc Psychology (Industrial) and have previously achieved grade A in A Level Psychology.

As part of my degree I completed a one year placement at a neurorehabilitation service for patients with brain injuries and am currently working within CPFT NHS as an Assistant Psychologist on a mental health ward, so have developed a strong understanding of the real-world applications of psychology. I believe this knowledge will better support students to understand the purpose of their course.

I am experienced in statistics (including the use of SPSS), having gained experience from undertaking research both during university and on placement. Such skills have enabled me to earn a place onto the ICUR 2021 and SNL 2021 virtual conferences where I presented my research.

I am an experienced tutor, having helped students to understand class content, plan essays, answer exam questions and find revision strategies that work best for them. In doing so, I have picked up many resources along the way which can be adapted to meet the needs of each student.

Other teaching experience includes supporting an after school arts and crafts session for children aged 4-10, giving me additional experience with young people.

Great to have meeting first to see if it would work then straight into series of lessons which were easy to access and set around our timetable too. FIRST 30 MINUTES FREE - for students requiring long-term support to give us chance to get to know each other and make a plan for the type of support you are looking for.

Single lesson purchases = £40 per hour
5 lessons booked in advance = £185 (£37 per hour)
10 lessons booked in advance = £350 (£35 per hour) There is an additional £5 per lesson for travel expenses (depending on location).

Cancellations must be made with 24 hours notice. Cancellations made within this time are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to being charged 100% of the lesson cost as it prevents other students having a lesson. No shows are charged £40 (or 100% of a single lesson, if lessons bought in bulk).
