About Urvi
A Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine Graduate from the University of Nottingham, currently looking for a job so have a lot of time on my hand to help.
Tutoring has been one of my passions and I truly feel that with the right mentor students academic abilities can improve colossal amounts. After finishing my final step in education, I feel as though I have a clear understanding of how certain subjects can intimidate kids, and I hope I can use my experience and expertise to be beneficial to help overcome those obstacles.
I have taught Maths and English to children aged 3 to 14 for 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy helping them reach their grades and improve their confidence in the subjects, I find it immensely rewarding when they understand difficult concepts.
My tutoring style teaches students valuable skills which will take them through their education smoothly, including; time management, exam techniques, core content and key revision skills. This is due to understanding working smartly and achieving maximum potential is through a balanced split between knowledge, exam & revision techniques and time management.
