About David
I used to run after school, computer-based learning and web-based classes for K-12 school teachers but prefer to deliver instruction directly to kids, to give them basic skills and confidence. With every student, regardless of their interests and motivation, I strive to foster life-long learning.

I use humor and genuine interest in every student to build rapport and challenge my students to go beyond "getting it done" to find creative ways to make each assignment and skill engaging for the student. During this challenging year, I have enjoyed moderating online book clubs and guiding my students to write essays about the books they read.
