About Louise
I am currently a SEN teaching assistant in a primary school with 4 years tutoring experience at a secondary level - both GCSE and A-Level. I have a certified qualification in Autism Awareness (training in guided reading and writing practice) and an enhanced DBS check. Having graduated from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London with an Upper Second Division degree in History of Art, I am familiar with AQA and Edexcel as well as their mark schemes. I also achieved 11 GCSE'S A*-C and 4 A-Levels A*-B in mainly essay based subjects (English Literature, Fine Art, Psychology, Health and Social Care) , making me familiar with how to structure an answer and the best way this should be done. With my previous experience still very recent, I am up to date with the GCSE & A-Level History and English curriculum as well as the GCSE Philosophy and Ethics content.

Proficient working with primary age children, I am happy to assist with SAT's content as well as GCSE and A-Level. My training and experience so far means I have a student centred approach; meaning, the child's individual needs are put first in finding strategies that work the best for their learning. As a recent graduate myself, I am also very familiar with the new ways students learn, i.e; new technologies and applications that visually aid learning as well as supplementing and consolidating previous knowledge.
