About Yrrol
I am a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at De La Salle University Manila. Before university, I attended PSHS-SMC. My strongest subjects are Mathematics and Physics. I am also an avid reader.
My exam results should speak for themselves. I qualified for PSHS as a main passer in the top 240, ranked within the top 50 in the UPCAT, ranked within top 100 in the DCAT, and passed DOST-SEI.
I do not have any formal tutoring experience, but I am quite clear on the techniques I used when preparing for these entrance exams. I am relaxed, straightforward, and easy to work with. My sessions are conversational by nature. I try to explain things as simply as possible.

I am available either for dedicated prep or as a standby tutor.
The lessons are going to be test-first and interactive. After testing, we focus on post-analysis, noting every mistake and then going from there. The question is never just what you got wrong. It's why you got it wrong. Where in your reasoning did you make a mistake? Could you have gotten it right?
Entrance exams don't expect you to know everything. They expect you to be adaptable to the questions they throw at you. Each question gives information that makes it possible to infer the correct answers.
I teach like this because it's how I achieved my results. I assure you that my teaching style is the most efficient. I didn't have top results because I studied more hours. In fact, I only studied for three weeks for the UPCAT and yet I managed to rank within the top 50 because of the methods I employed.
