About Kristie
I lived and taught English in Asia for 10 years. During that time, I taught every level from kindergarten through to university and in various training schools. Later in my career, I specialized in tutoring for the IELTS with an impressive success rate.
I create my lessons to be fun and engaging so students look forward to their lessons. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and ask questions—there are no “wrong” questions, and every mistake is a lesson in itself.
The most rewarding aspect of teaching is helping students gain confidence and discover what they’re capable of. I tailor every lesson to each learner’s style and goals, creating a supportive space where real, noticeable progress happens.
