About Marlon
I am a releasing artist and DJ with my last EP being featured in DJ Mag USA and on Defected playlists across Spotify and Apple Music. Please check out my music and socials - I'm under Marlon George.
I specialise in dance music in particular, but I am classically trained pianist and double bassist and attended the Royal College of Music when I was younger. I studied Music Technology at Point Blank and have Logic Certification. I love music and listen to a lot of genres; Ambient, soul, jazz, hip hop, rnb and drum and bass alongside my usual dosage of house music!

Playing records is a really fun and creative way to express yourself, not to mention that making people dance to the music that you love is best thing ever! Whilst a lot of DJ's look serious and cool - I like the idea of having fun and being sensitive to the people around you. Everyone should learn how to DJ!
I have been playing now for over 13 years and teaching for five. Last year I did my first gigs abroad (Hungary and Ibiza) after my EP on Robsoul got to Number 1 on Beatport.
Lessons with me involve; Learning the technical aspects of equipment (software/hardware on both turntables and CDJs); Signal flow & gain staging; Track selection, beat matching and phrasing; Discovering and organising music & getting gigs.
