About Brielle
My interest in Excel and data analysis developed from a fascination with how organized information can simplify complex decisions. This led me to complete a B.Sc in Business Analytics, where I learned how data tools support clarity, accuracy, and efficiency across industries. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students how to move beyond basic spreadsheet use and develop confidence in real analytical tasks.
My teaching approach emphasizes patience, structure, and relevance. I take time to understand each learner’s goals, whether academic, professional, or personal, and adapt lessons accordingly. I focus on helping students understand logic rather than memorizing steps, ensuring they can apply skills independently even in new situations.
Outside teaching, I continue refining my Excel expertise through data projects, reporting work, and ongoing learning. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see learners grow from uncertainty to confidence. Supporting students as they gain control over data and develop strong analytical habits motivates my work every day.

Excel becomes a powerful skill when learners understand not only which tools to use, but why and when to use them. My lessons focus on building a deep, practical understanding of spreadsheets by guiding students through data organization, formulas, functions, and logical structuring of information. I introduce concepts gradually, starting with layout design, cell referencing, and formatting before moving into calculations and analysis. Each topic is explained using real-life examples such as budgeting, reporting, tracking, and decision-making tasks, helping learners see immediate value in what they are learning. The learning environment is calm, supportive, and focused on clarity.
As lessons progress, students work with functions like IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, COUNTIFS, SUMIFS, and logical formulas that improve efficiency and accuracy. Intermediate learners explore charts, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and data validation. Advanced learners focus on dashboards, data cleaning, automation concepts, and structured problem-solving using Excel logic. Every lesson includes guided practice, correction, and explanation so learners understand how errors happen and how to fix them confidently.
Over time, students develop strong confidence in handling data independently. Many begin applying Excel skills in academics, work, or personal projects with greater accuracy and speed. My goal is to help learners feel in control of data, make informed decisions, and trust their analytical ability through structured and meaningful Excel learning.
