About Lorelei
I am an Excel tutor with 12 years of experience and a Master of Science in Data Analytics. I enjoy helping students discover how spreadsheet skills can simplify complex tasks and improve efficiency in many different fields.
My teaching style is practical, encouraging, and focused on individual progress. I create learning experiences that allow students to understand every feature clearly while building confidence through consistent hands-on practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring business intelligence software, studying data visualization methods, and learning modern productivity tools. These experiences help me create engaging lessons that prepare students with valuable workplace skills.

My Excel lessons focus on helping students become confident users of spreadsheets through practical learning and real examples. We begin with worksheet organization, formatting, formulas, functions, tables, charts, sorting, filtering, and workbook management before moving toward advanced spreadsheet skills. Every lesson explains not only how each feature works but also when it should be used. I encourage learners to practice regularly so every skill becomes useful in real situations.
As students gain experience, we explore PivotTables, lookup functions, conditional formatting, dashboards, financial calculations, data validation, reporting techniques, and spreadsheet automation through guided projects. Every topic is introduced with demonstrations followed by independent practice that strengthens confidence and accuracy. Revision exercises and workplace examples help learners apply their knowledge effectively.
My goal is to help students develop practical spreadsheet skills that improve productivity and decision-making. Every lesson builds organization, confidence, and digital abilities that remain valuable throughout education and professional life.
