About Shruti
My interest in spreadsheet software began when I realized how digital tools could simplify complicated data tasks. This curiosity encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, where I studied database management, information technology, and data analysis tools. During my 6 years of teaching, I have helped many students develop practical Excel abilities.
I believe technology learning should be clear, practical, and supportive. My teaching approach focuses on demonstrations followed by hands-on exercises so students can apply what they learn immediately. I guide learners patiently so they feel comfortable experimenting with different spreadsheet features.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new data tools and learning about modern information systems. These activities help me keep my lessons updated with useful techniques. Teaching Excel is fulfilling because I see students become more confident in organizing and analyzing information effectively.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students understand how spreadsheets can organize information and support decision making. In the beginning, learners explore the basic structure of Excel worksheets. They learn how to enter data, format cells, and create simple tables that display information clearly. I guide students in using basic formulas to calculate totals, averages, and percentages.
As students become more comfortable with these tools, lessons introduce advanced spreadsheet features. Learners practice sorting and filtering data to manage large sets of information. I also demonstrate how conditional formatting can highlight important values automatically. Creating charts and graphs allows students to present information visually, which makes complex data easier to understand.
My goal is to help students develop practical spreadsheet skills that are useful in both academic and professional environments. Lessons encourage careful organization and logical analysis of data. Over time learners gain the confidence to build structured spreadsheets and interpret information independently. Excel becomes a valuable tool that improves productivity and data management.
