About Silas
I hold a Master’s degree in Information Systems and have 8 years of experience teaching Excel to students and professionals. My interest in data and technology led me to focus on practical applications of spreadsheet tools. I believe that Excel should be taught in a simple and clear way so students can use it confidently. My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and step-by-step learning.
I adapt my teaching approach based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners are guided carefully to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners improve their efficiency and understanding. Advanced students focus on solving complex data problems. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.
Outside of teaching, I explore new tools and techniques related to data analysis, which helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. This ensures students learn practical and current skills. Helping learners become confident in Excel is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

My Excel lessons are designed to help students understand how to organize, manage, and analyze data effectively using spreadsheets. Intermediate learners focus on functions like IF statements, VLOOKUP, and data sorting. Advanced students work on data analysis tools, dashboards, and improving workflow efficiency. The goal of my Excel lessons is to help students become confident in managing and analyzing data efficiently. They learn to organize information, solve problems, and present data clearly.
