About Ayla
My interest in Excel began when I started exploring how digital tools could help people organize and analyze information more effectively. I quickly realized that spreadsheets provide a powerful way to perform calculations, manage records, and present data clearly. This interest encouraged me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and later complete a Master’s in Information Systems.
During the past 7 years, I have taught Excel to students and professionals who wanted to improve their ability to work with spreadsheets and manage data efficiently. Through teaching experience, I noticed that many learners feel confused when they first encounter formulas and spreadsheet functions. Because of this, I focus on explaining each tool clearly and guiding students through practical exercises that build confidence step by step.
My teaching style emphasizes hands-on practice and real-world application. I encourage students to explore spreadsheet tools, experiment with formulas, and learn how to analyze data effectively. Helping learners develop confidence in using Excel and understand how spreadsheets support decision making is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching work.

My Excel lessons focus on helping students understand how spreadsheets can be used to organize information, perform calculations, and analyze data efficiently. Excel is a powerful tool used in many academic and professional fields because it allows users to manage large amounts of information in a structured format. In my lessons, I guide students step by step so they can understand how different spreadsheet tools function and how they can be used to solve practical tasks.
Lessons usually begin with the basic features of Excel so beginners can build a strong foundation. Students first learn how to enter data into cells, organize information into tables, and apply simple formatting techniques that make spreadsheets easier to read and manage. Once these skills are comfortable, learners begin using basic formulas that allow them to perform calculations automatically.
As students progress, lessons expand into commonly used functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, and logical functions that simplify data analysis. Students also learn how to sort and filter datasets, create charts, and build pivot tables that summarize complex information. My goal is to help learners develop practical Excel skills that can be used for academic assignments, professional work tasks, and everyday data management activities.
