About Dylan
My interest in digital tools developed when I realized how technology can simplify complex tasks and improve productivity. Spreadsheet software particularly interested me because it allows people to organize and analyze large amounts of information efficiently.
This curiosity led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, where I studied data management and computer applications. During my 7 years of teaching, I have helped many learners develop strong practical skills in Excel. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step guidance and hands-on practice so students can learn each tool while applying it directly.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new software tools and learning about modern data analysis methods. These interests allow me to keep my lessons practical and up to date. Teaching Excel is fulfilling because I see students gain confidence in managing information and using technology effectively.

My Excel lessons help students learn how spreadsheets can be used to organize, analyze, and present data effectively. Many learners initially think Excel is only used to store numbers in tables, but during lessons they discover how powerful the software can be for calculations and data analysis. We begin with the fundamentals such as creating worksheets, entering information, and formatting cells so data becomes clear and structured.
As students gain confidence, lessons gradually introduce formulas and useful functions that automate calculations. Learners practice tools such as sorting, filtering, and conditional formatting to manage larger datasets efficiently. I also guide students in creating charts and graphs so they can transform numerical information into clear visual presentations.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable using Excel for academic tasks, professional work, and personal organization. Lessons focus on practical exercises so learners can apply their knowledge immediately. Over time students gain confidence in managing data and using spreadsheet tools effectively.
