About Tiva

My interest in Excel developed during my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, where I learned how important data management is in both academic and professional settings. I became interested in how Excel can simplify complex data and make it easier to understand and use. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with many students, helping them build strong Excel skills through clear explanation and practical learning.

I believe that Excel should be easy to learn when it is taught in a structured and simple way. My teaching approach focuses on step-by-step guidance, real-life examples, and consistent practice so students can build confidence gradually. I take time to understand each student’s learning level and adjust my teaching style so they feel comfortable and supported throughout their learning journey.

Outside of teaching, I continue exploring new Excel features and tools to improve my knowledge and teaching methods. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Excel is very meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students gain practical skills that they can use in studies, work, and daily life, while also building their confidence in handling data effectively.

About the lesson

Excel becomes much easier when students understand how to organize and work with data instead of simply using features without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundational skills through simple and structured teaching. We begin with basic topics such as data entry, formatting, and simple formulas. I guide students step by step so they understand how each feature works. This helps them feel comfortable and confident from the beginning.

As students improve, I introduce more advanced tools such as functions, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis techniques. I explain each concept clearly and provide practical exercises so students can apply their learning. I also help them understand common mistakes and improve their accuracy. This steady learning approach helps students build strong skills over time.

Excel lessons also help students develop organization, accuracy, and logical thinking. They learn how to manage data effectively and present it clearly. Over time, students gain confidence and become more independent in using Excel. My goal is to make Excel simple, useful, and easy to apply in real-life situations.
