About Lila
My interest in Excel and data analysis began with a fascination for organising information and uncovering patterns to make smarter decisions. I pursued a B.Sc in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Data Analytics, combining technical skills with analytical expertise. Over the past 10 years, I have guided learners of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced users, helping them develop competence, efficiency, and confidence in Excel and data analysis applications.
I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and practicality. Lessons are customised to the learner’s needs, including hands-on exercises, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance. I encourage experimentation, problem-solving, and logical reasoning, ensuring learners not only understand Excel functions but can apply them effectively.
Outside teaching, I stay current with Excel updates, advanced functions, and data visualisation tools. This enables me to integrate modern, relevant examples into lessons. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence, mastering skills that improve their productivity and analytical thinking, is extremely rewarding. My aim is to help learners become proficient, independent, and creative users of Excel, capable of leveraging data to make informed decisions.
