About Stephen

Hello! I'm Stephen Salaka, and my passion is transforming technology teams from Zeroes to Heroes by developing world-class solutions, software, and systems. My journey began as a coder and hands-on systems guy, but I soon found myself thrust into leadership roles that demanded serious chaos management skills. Over the past two decades, I’ve honed my expertise in leading software engineering teams, turning complex challenges into profitable opportunities.

I hold a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, which equips me with a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics, allowing me to foster high-performing teams. In addition to my teaching certifications, which qualify me to teach Math and Science K-12 in Florida, I have earned numerous IT certifications that underline my technical expertise. My diverse skill set enables me to bridge the gap between technology and people, driving both innovation and productivity in the teams I lead.

About the lesson

Introduction:
With a PhD in IO psychology, numerous IT certificates, a minor in education and certification to teach Math and Science for grades K-12 in Florida, I am equipped to customize your learning pathway to meet your specific needs and goals. Whether you're struggling with fundamental concepts or aiming to excel in advanced topics, I can guide you effectively.

Details:
My teaching method is centered around personalized learning, where I tailor lessons to each student's unique learning style and pace. I use a combination of direct instruction, hands-on activities, and real-world applications to make the material engaging and relevant. A typical lesson plan starts with assessing the student's current understanding, followed by interactive problem-solving sessions, and concludes with a review to reinforce key concepts.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students on a personal level, fostering a supportive and motivating environment. I make complex topics accessible and less intimidating by breaking them down into manageable parts, ensuring that each student gains confidence in their abilities.

My lessons are designed for a wide range of students, from those in elementary school needing foundational support to graduate students tackling advanced quantitative analysis coursework in Math and Science. Whether you're a parent seeking help for your child or a career professional working on your next IT certification, I am here to help you succeed.
