I hold an Advanced Diploma in Special Education and a Certificate in the Multisensory Approach to Literacy (Orton-Gillingham).
My lessons include a fun, balanced mix of:
• Language (receptive & expressive)
• Pre-academic concepts
• Play & social interaction
• Self-help & social skills
• Pre-vocational skills
• Fine & gross motor skills
• Reading
• Art
All tailored to the child's pace and needs, with behavior modification and IEP support.
I have 5 years of experience working with children with Autism (verbal and non-verbal), ADHD, and Dyslexia — in one-to-one settings and groups at a special needs center. I'm also trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the multisensory approach to literacy, Orton-Gillingham.
